Quilt Retreat

Dear Quilter,

The Gathering of Quilters is holding its fourth annual QUILT RETREAT. The tentative date is set for March 19 -21^st, 2010. You are invited to sign up for a great weekend of quilting at the Harmony Lodge, Widewater Retreat Center, Liberty Center, OH. Reservations will be on a first come/first served basis. All quilters are welcome. Reservations will be open to non-Gathering quilters after Sept 15^th. We need your deposit by September 15th and the balance is due by January 31. The total cost will be $110.00 unless Widewater prices exceed this amount. No Refunds will be given unless we have a waiting list.

The lodge is reserved from noon Friday until 2p.m. Sunday. The fee covers a light meal Friday, 3 meals on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday, plus two nights in the Lodge bedrooms (twin beds - six beds to a room). There are also free coffee/tea and Pepsi products available throughout the weekend. If you want to bring a snack to share. We will have a snack table.

We will send you a list of things to bring and directions to the lodge (on Rte 24 near Texas, OH) after we receive your deposit. There will be a massage therapist available on Saturday afternoon. Massages are extra, with payment given to the therapist.

This is an unstructured weekend for you to work on whatever projects you want to bring. If you want to participate, we will have a fat quarter raffle and a quilter’s garage sale (price your items and put your name on them. We encourage you to participate in our show and tell on Saturday night to show what you have been working on during the weekend and other quilted items you may want to bring to the show.
